This twist pen in Antique Pewter is a true tribute to the American Cowboy. On top of the clip which is a replica of a horseshoe nail sits a tooled leather boot. Interlocking horseshoes are arount the center band for good luck and the stars throughout the pen design are a nod to the Sheriffs of the Old West. The top and bottom of this pen are made of Rear Honduran Rosewood Burl.There are five coats of Ca over the wood to protect it and polished to a glass like finish. There is a natural very small space between the top of the pen and the centerband and that is there so the Twist Mechanism will work properly.It is NOT a flaw. The pen was built that way. Takes a Parker style refill and comes with a Black Velvet pull string bag and gift box.
